Hauck & Aufhäuser appoints new head of Sales

German private bank Hauck & Aufhäuser has appointed Timon Virgens as new head of Sales for its Asset Management division.

As part of his new role, Virgens will be in charge of renewing the banks’ fund range for the mutual fund distribution, the reinforcement of sales cooperations and the expansion of Hauck & Aufhäuser Asset Mangagements’s services to pension funds and other institutional clients.

Virgens has been with the bank for four years, most recently as product- and sales manager covering investment products. Prior to that, he worked among others as portfolio manager at Commerzbank / Cominvest.

He takes over from Sikandar Salam, who has left the bank in order to join the sales team at Fisch Asset Management.
