Italy’s ABI opens Frankfurt office

ABI, the Italian banking association, has announced the decision to open an office in Frankfurt office, in order to better lobby for an even regulatory framework across European markets.

Frankfurt represents, according to the newly appointed chairman Antonio Patuelli, the crossroad of European finance. ABI already has offices in Rome, Milan and Brussels.

Meanwhile, the association’s executive committee has appointed Alessandro Profumo (chairman at Mps) and Maurizio Sella (former ABI’s chairman) as supporting members of the Board.
