Major reshuffle at Union Investment’s multi asset team
Union Investment has confirmed today that Thomas Romig (pictured), head of multi-management, will leave the firm as of June 2015, his departure follows that of Thomas Handte, currently senior multi-asset manager, as of March announced earlier today.
Oliver Frey, currently senior portfolio manager Asset Allocation at Union Investment is set to take over Romig’s position as of July 2015, while Handte’s replacement has not yet been confirmed.
Romig, who featured on the cover of Investment Europe’s September issue, has been head of Union Investments Multi Asset Management team since 2009. Prior to that, he was head of Multi Management at Allianz Global Investors.
