Merck & Finck appoints new CIO
German private bank Merck & Finck has appointed Stefan Duderstedt as CIO, alongside his role as head of the Investment Centre of the bank.
He has taken on his new role as of mid-September, it was previously held on an ad-interim basis by board member Thilo Wendenburg.
Duderstedt has been with Merck & Finck since 2001, having worked as buy side analyst Equities, portfolio manager Private Clients, Equity strategist, head of Equity Research and head of Portfolio Management.
Prior to joining the group, he worked among others as assistant investment strategist at Bankhaus Maffei and as advisor to private clients at Münchner Bank.
