Schroders produces KIIDs for Luxembourg range before July deadline
Schroders is to launch Key Investor Information Documents for its entire fund range in mid-May, making it one of the first UK managers to do so on the Continent.
The British fund manager has marked 14 May as the day it will produce the information documents for investors – about six weeks before the 1 July deadline set by the European Union for regulated products.
Schroders has almost 100 funds registered in Germany and 93 in Austria – requiring 1,150 of the documents in total, which will replace the simplified prospectus historically presented to investors.
If investors wish to see earlier the information on the documents, that will be available from 7 May at www.schroders.lu/kiid.
Achim Küssner (pictured), head of Schroder Investment Management GmbH in Frankkfurt said: “We are pleased to be putting in place, before the expiry of the deadline, the KIIDs for our entire fund family domiciled in Luxembourg.
“The pertinent information such as goals, investment strategies, risks, fees, and the past performance of the funds will be transmitted in a uniform way and using understandable terms,” he added.
