Schroders strengthens German institutional distribution team
Schroders has strengthened its German institutional distribution team in Frankfurt by appointing Katja Börger as director looking after institutional clients in that country.
She reports to Carlos Boehles, leader of the institutional team for Schroders in Germany.
Börger (pictured) brings with her more than 20 years‘ experience in investment banking, and was previously an independent advisor on mandates in the fields of financial optimisation, risk management using derivatives and corporate finance.
She spent more than 18 years at Commerzbank – latterly as head of capital markets for North America.
Boehles said that her extensive experience in capital markets, variously for the heads of large companies, would help Schroders in strengthening its institutional business further.
“As well her distribution-focused experience, Katja Börger stands out through her enormous specialist knowledge not only of equities, but also of bonds, of derivative instruments and of risk management.”
