Stoxx launches multi-asset index series

Stoxx Ltd, the operator of Deutsche Boerse Group’s index business has launched a multi-asset index series that replicates a hypothetical portfolio tracking the performance of the Euro Stoxx 50 index and the Euro Stoxx 50 Corporate Bond index.

The Euro Stoxx 50 Multi-Asset Indices are intended to enable users to access a liquid diversification across asset classes, said Matteo Andreetto, CEO of Stoxx Ltd.

“By offering indices with built-in exposure levels to equity and fixed income, these indices offer the possibility to construct portfolios according to individual risk preferences, as well as various macroeconomic factors.2

The indices are intended to serve as the underlying basis of ETFs and derivatives. They will be rebalanced quarterly, and are available in price and total return versions. They are calculated in euros.
