Goldman Sachs to shut down Monaco office

Goldman Sachs is to shut down its private wealth management office in Monaco, InvestmentEurope has learned.

According to the Journal Officiel de Monaco, the company has decided to engage the liquidation process of its ‘société anonyme monégasque’ named Goldman Sachs (Monaco) S.A.M under which it was operating in the Principality of Monaco after an extraordinary general meeting that occurred on 8 June.

The entity was established in Monaco in 2005.
