IndexIQ to launch five ETFs for European investors

ETF provider IndexIQ, part of New York Life Investment Management, is to launch five ETFs that will be available to European investors, InvestmentEurope has learned.

The list includes the IndexIQ – Factors Sustainable Corporate Euro Bond Ucits ETF, the IndexIQ – Factors Sustainable Sovereign Euro Bond Ucits ETF, the IndexIQ – Factors Sustainable Europe Equity Ucits ETF, the IndexIQ – Factors Sustainable Emu Equity Ucits ETF as well as the IndexIQ – Factors Sustainable Japan Equity Ucits ETF.

These ETFs will track indexes developed by Solactive in partnership with Candriam (Solactive Candriam Factor Sustainable Corporate Euro Bond Index, Solactive Candriam Factors Sustainable Sovereign Euro Bond Index, Solactive Candriam Factors Sustainable Europe Equity Index, Solactive Candriam Factors Sustainable Emu Equity Index, Solactive Candriam Factors Sustainable Japan Equity Index).

The universe of eligible companies for the indexes results from the application of the sustainable and responsible investing (SRI) criteria developed by Candriam Belgium. Only investment grade debt is considered for the Solactive Candriam Factor Sustainable Corporate Euro Bond Index.

Previously, IndexIQ has launched a series of SRI indexes together with Candriam, also part of New York Life Investment Management.

IndexIQ has been established in 2006 and joined NYLIM group in 2015.
