Inversis launches fund advised by Paramés

Banca March-owned Inversis Gestión has launched the equity fund Cobas Selección, under the guidance of the renowned Spanish fund manager Franciso García Paramés.

The fund, which will begin trading from 2 November, will follow a “value-investing” style, with more than 80% of its assets invested in equities, mainly international stocks but also, to some extend, Spanish and Portuguese companies.

The fund’s minimum investment will be €5,000 until 31 December. In order to allow investors to make their initial investments with minimal fluctuations in net asset value, the fund management fee will be 0.01% per annum until 31 December this year, becoming 1.75% per annum from 1 January 2017.

Following the announcement of Paramés’ new boutique, the fund manager reached an agreement with Inversis to launch the new equity fund. The management of the Cobas Selección fund will then be transferred to the new asset management firm of Paramés once it is approved by the Spanish regulator CNMV.

The collaboration between Inversis and Paramés includes a commitment to keep Inversis’ specialised depository and administration services in the new asset management firm.
