Invesco appoints consultant relations director EMEA

Invesco has appointed Chris Evans as EMEA investment consultant relations director in its EMEA institutional team.

In this newly created position, Evans will be responsible for strengthening Invesco’s existing relationships with investment consultants and fiduciary managers, while also building new partnerships.

Evans joins Invesco from BlackRock where he was the EMEA head of the Global Consultant Relations team.

He was in charge of providing global leadership for relationships with fiduciary managers and lead responsibility for relationships with UK DC consultants, and helped grow consultant intermediated revenue, particularly from fiduciary managers, over the last five years.

Evans also worked with both Australian superannuation and UK pension schemes plus UK insurers at BlackRock/ BGI, and prior to working in asset management, he was an investment consultant at Mercer.
