Invesco unveils global convertible fund

US asset management group Invesco has soft-launched the Invesco Global Convertible Fund on 10 July 2017, InvestmentEurope has learned.

The strategy is co-managed by Robert Young, senior multi-asset portfolio manager and head of Institutional Convertible Securities at Invesco, and portfolio manager Lyndon Man.

The Invesco Global Convertible Fund is domiciled within the company’s Luxembourg Sicav, Invesco Funds. It invests in global convertible assets issued worldwide, including contingent convertibles and synthetic convertibles.

The fund aims to achieve a total return over the long-term with relative security of capital in comparison to equities.

Invesco had $858.3bn (€752.3bn) of assets under management as of end June 2017.
