Aberdeen names Bosco head of Switzerland, SE

Aberdeen Asset Management has appointed Matteo Bosco (pictured) as head of Business Development Southern Europe and Switzerland.

Already head of Business Development for Switzerland and Italy since 2013, Bosco will now look after the company’s business development in Southern Europe with main focus on Italy, Switzerland, Portugal and Spain, which are considered key countries by Aberdeen AM.

Other countries on his radar will be Greece, Malta and Cyprus.

Bosco joined Aberdeen AM in 2009 as Italy country head and previously worked for companies like Banque Unigestion SA in Geneva; Credit Suisse Group in Zurich and Credit Suisse AM Funds SGR in Milan.

Hans Benenga, global deputy head of Distribution, hailed the appointment as crucial for Aberdeen’s business development in Southern Europe.
