AllianceBernstein unveils fund of funds for Italy’s Banca Generali
US investment house AllianceBernstein has launched today a fund of funds managed exclusively for Italy’s Banca Generali, AllianceBernstein Equity 3D.
The fund will be part of Luxemburg-based Sicav BG Selection and it combines long term and dynamic strategies to achieve a combination of investments designed for uncertain markets.
Long term funds will focus on low-valuation equity, which shows high growth potential.
Asset allocation will be managed by senior fund manager Patrick Ruddeand and it will be based on a AllianceBernstein’s proprietary research.
The fund is specifically designed to generate returns in volatile markets.
The management of the fund will be overseen from London and the fund will be only available to Banca Generali’s customers.
The company has been present in Italy for a few years, and it currently has two people based in Milan.
Massimo Dalla Vedova, director financial institutions at AllianceBernstein in Italy said that despite ongoing uncertainty in Italy, the company is ready to allocate a share of its assets on equity components.
”AllianceBernstein Equity 3D combines investment opportunities with differences in term of geography and management style. Dynamic funds will also help to manage volatility,” he added.
AllianceBernstein Investments has about $407bn under management globally.
