AQA Capital opens Milan office

Maltese asset manager AQA Capital has landed Italy with the opening of an office in Milan aimed at institutional and private investors, Finanza Operativa revealed.

AQA Capital Italian branch will count on a six-member team, comprised by Christian Manicaro as general director; Alessandro Beggio responsible for leading the firm’s wealth management division; and Gabriele Rossi as head of asset management.

AQA Capital is an independent asset management company providing investment management services and distribution for Ucits and AIF funds, be they internally managed or white label funds. It offers investment solutions to partners like banking institutions, family offices and HNWI. AQA Capital focuses on equities, fixed income, alternatives and versatile portfolios. Depending on the desired risk appetite of the client, a multidisciplinary approach based on macroeconomic, fundamental and statistical/quantitative analysis is adopted to optimise returns, the manager says.

The Maltese boutique Gamma Capital also disembarked in Italy last May after nearly a decade serving European investors from Malta.
