Australian manager AMP poaches De Ferrari from Credit Suisse

Australian wealth manager AMP has appointed Credit Suisse’s veteran Francesco de Ferrari as its chief executive officer.

De Ferrari, succeeding Mike Wilkins who has worked as interim CEO since April, will take charge on 1st of December. He will also join the AMP Limited Board as an executive director at the first board meeting in January 2019.

De Ferrari joins AMP from Credit Suisse, where he worked 17 years as chief executive of Southeast Asia and frontier markets and head of private banking Asia Pacific.
