AZ Investimenti appoints 7 from Banca Network
AZ Investimenti, part of Italy’s asset manager Azimut Group, has confirmed a number of appointments to its network of financial advisers.
The company has appointed 16 advisers, who mainly joined from troubled lender Banca Network.
Valter Pellegrini, Massimiliano Dolcetto, Nada Corazzina, Fabio Gianbartolomei, Antonella Bertona, Giovanni Pastorelli and Giovanni Antonelli have joined AZ from Banca Network.
The group also confirmed it completed the following appoitments between February and June.
Andrea Frittajon joined from Banca Padovana, Lorenzo Gazzaniga from Barclays, Maurizio Michielotto from Mediolanum, Roberta Tampieri from Unipol Banca, Danilo Marsala, Bruno Chiodaroli and Giuseppe Lanza from Banca Euromobiliare, Salvatore Burrascano from Credito Emiliano and Leonardo Cervino from Allianz Bank.
Banca Network has been in administration since November 2011, and at the end of May suspended all payments to creditors.
Italian asset manager Consultinvest confirmed in June the agreement to acquire its network of about 240 financial advisers.
But over the last weeks, a number of professionals left the bank to join competitor firms.
