Azimut Wealth Management hires head of advisory from UBS
Italy’s Azimut Wealth Management has appointed former UBS head of Northeast Italy and chairman of local advisory committee Massimo Donatoni.
Donatoni has worked at UBS since 2006 on a number of different roles, such as head of key clients and HNWI. Since 2011 he has been head of Northeast Italy for the group. Prior to UBS, Donatoni has worked as head of investments at Banca Esperia and at Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena (Mps).
Donatoni will join the team headed by Paolo Martini, where he will be in charge of developing the project of advisory fee which Azimut will launch by the end of the year.
Paolo Martini, sales manager at Azimut, commented: “We are convinced that Massimo will give a boost to our advisory fee project. We are currently working on building a suitable platform for advsiory fee services.”
