Banca Carige makes two senior appointments in Italy

Banca Carige Group has bolstered its management team with the appointments of Maurizio Zancanaro and Patrizia Giuliani.

Zancanaro (pictured), who has been appointed to lead the group’s wealth management division, joins Banca Carige from Banca Aletti, where he worked first as the bank’s general director and later as CEO. Previously, he worked at the corporate and private banking division of Deutsche Bank in Italy. Zancanaro also held the role of president of Italy’s AIPB (Associazione Italiana Private Banking).

Banca Carige has named Patrizia Giuliani responsible for the human resources department. She joins from UBS, where she was the human resources director of the firm’s Italian branch for over a decade. Prior to that, Giuliani held the same position at Calyon (Crédit Agricole Group), Lucent Technologies Italia e Ingram Micro Italia.

“I am very excited to join Banca Carige Group because I really believe in this new management team and in the possibility of bolstering the wealth management unit.”
