Banca Cesare Ponti names general director

Milan-headquartered Banca Cesare Ponti has named Michele Ungaro as the new general director effective on 1st of July.

According the bank, the appointment is in line with the entity’s 2017-2020 strategic plan aimed at redefining the current private banking business of the Italian financial entity.

Ungaro joins Banca Cesare Ponti from UniCredit Group where he held various management roles. At the private banking unit of UniCredit, Ungaro worked as its deputy general director, and later, as the chief operating officer at the wealth management division of UniCredit, Cordusio SIM.
