Banca Esperia hires duo from Schroders
Banca Esperia, the Italian private bank created from a joint venture between Mediobanca and Mediolanum, has appointed Filippo Arena e Luca Ferrazzi to its commercial team.
The pair arrive from Schroders and will be based in Milan. They will work to strengthen the bank’s commercial capabilities.
Arena will head a new team of bankers responsible to develop the Direzione Commerciale Lombardia, which falls under the responsibility of Theo Delia Russell.
Before joining Schroders, Arena worked for Banca Commerciale Italiana in New York and for Citigroup Private Banking. Ferrazzi has also worked at JP Morgan.
The hires follow the appointments of Luca Marconi and Christian Arrigoni, who recently joined Banca Esperia from UBI Banca to develop a similar division in Bergamo and Brescia.
