Banca Generali gears up for technology upgrade
Italy’s Banca Generali is expected to unveil next week an enhanced technology platform, with a new website developed to offer to its clients more functionalities, as well as a greater focus on educational tools.
According to reports by the local press, the asset manager has made efforts to migrate from paper to digital documents, and it will introduce the use of tablets across its network of financial advisers.
By the end of the year, the firm will also introduce a smartphone app, to be used by its clients, as well as a paypass payment system developed with Mastercard.
Banca Generali is also understood to be recruiting across its network of advisers, with about 80 advisers expected to join the network over the next months.
