Banca Ifigest strengthens Milan team

Italy’s Banca Ifigest, an independent private bank providing portfolio management services for private and institutional clients, has added Sergio Conti to its manager team.

Conti (pictured) has a long standing experience in the HNWI portfolio management sector, where he has worked since 1981. Prior to joining Banca Ifigest, he worked for a series of local banks including Banca Credito Commerciale, Prime Fiduciaria (Gruppo Fiat-Mps); Servizi Fiduciari Milanesi (Gruppo Caboto).

In 2000 he joined at Banca Aletti where he has handled HNWI clients.  From 2006 to 2010, Conti worked at Banca Leonardo as private banker and then moved on to joining UBI – Banca Private Investment in 2010.

Conti’s hire is part of Banca Ifigest’s plans to strenghten its presence in the territory, the bank added.

Gianni Bizzarri, president of Banca Ifigest, commented: “Our clients seek a fair balance between capital increase and preservation. Conti will boost the active management activities that will help us improve our services to clients.”

As part of its business development plans, Banca Ifigest announced the opening of a new office in Genova earlier in December.
