Banca Mediolanum goes social on YouTube

Italian bank Banca Mediolanum has announced the launch of a YouTube channel, which will go live on July 15.

The online space will feature interviews and clips with the senior management of the bank, headed by founder and chief executive Ennio Doris (pictured).

New products and services will be presented via the website and investors and clients will be able to navigate the page through nine key tags.

The news comes as Italian banks show growing interest for social media investments.

Last week Italian investment advisory Advise Only unveiled its social network aimed at retail and professional investors such as portfolio managers and financial advisers.
