Banca Nuova appoints general director

Italy’s Banca Nuova has named Paolo Marin as his new general director.

Banca Nuova, part of Gruppo Banca Popolare di Vicenza, has some 100 branches across Calabria and Sicily, southern Italy.

Up until the announcement, Marin has been deputy general director at Banca Nuova and will now replace Umberto Seretti as general director, who has been called back by Banca Popolare di Vicenza.

Marin has worked for Banca Popolare di Vicenza since 2008, when he joined as head of Credit and has been named deputy general director at Cassa di Risparmio di Prato in 2010.

Marin started his career in San Paolo Imi, now part of the Intesa Sanpaolo Group.
