Banor Sim names new partner

Milan-headquartered advisory firm Banor Sim has appointed Giovanni Carrara (pictured) as partner.

Carrara was the former head of Private Banking and managing director of Credit Suisse Italy. At Banor Sim, he will be responsible for the management of high-net-worth individuals’ assets within the private banking division of the firm and will have an operational role in the family office.

Carrara started his career at Arthur Andersen before serving at Deutsche Bank Italy as managing director and chief operating officer from 2001 to 2006 and joining Credit Suisse in Milan in 2007.

Banor Sim tallies 76 professionals based in Milan and Torino. As of 31 August 2017, it managed €4.8bn of assets for some 1,300 clients.
