BNL reshuffles top management roles
Italy’s BNL, part of BNP Paribas group has changed its top management structure.
On December 3, Angelo Novati will be promoted to chief financial officer.
Gianfilippo Pandolfini, head of human resources, will become chief operating officer. He will be replaced by Gabriella Serravalle.
Adolfo Pellegrino will head the newly created operations business unit.
The new governance has been supported by chief executive Fabio Gallia, who over the last years has implemented a plan to make the bank’s network more efficient.
Gallia also appointed Paolo Alberto De Angelis, head of Corporate division, Marco Tarantola, head of retail and private banking and Angelo Novati and Gianfilippo Pandolfini, as managing directors.
“With the new governance we will be able to better face current market conditions and to make the decisional process faster. It will also allow us to better manage risk on behalf of our clients”, Gallia said.
