BNP Paribas replaces Italy’s head of distribution
BNP Paribas Investment Partners Sgr has announced that Andrea Succo (pictured) has been appointed head of External Distribution Italy.
Succo replaces Matthieu David, who has been with the company since 2007.
Prior this role, Succo has been deputy head of Distribution and head of Wholesale Italy for three years.
He has an extensive experience in the Italian asset management distribution. He worked for Fortis Investments in Bruxelles and in Milan from 2003 as Senior relationship manager for fund buyers.
He has a degree in Economics at L. Bocconi University. He started his career in 1996 in the set up and distribution of investment funds at Credit Agricole Indosuez and Banque Générale du Luxembourg.
“Italy is a key market for BNP Paribas Investment Partners,” Andrea Succo points out, “with a long term presence and a wide range of solutions in line with the needs of distributors and fund buyers.
“The goal is to further develop our activity on both the wholesale and the retail segments taking the challenges of a growing asset management market, and of its new requirements in product innovation, diversification and long term planning.”
