Cipolletta takes chairman role at Italy’s AIFI
Innocenzo Cipolletta has been appointed chairman at AIFI, the Italian private equity and venture capital association.
Cipolletta is chairman at UBS Italia Sim and professor at the University of Trento. During his career in the industry, he has served as chairman at Ferrovie dello Stato and publishing group Il Sole 24 Ore and as general director at Confindustria.
Cipolletta replaces Giampio Bracchi who served for three terms as chairman. Members of the association have also elected the new management board.
Fabio Borsoi (Imi Fondi Chiusi Sgr), Gabriele Cappellini (Fondo Italiano d’Investimento Sgr), Francesco de Giglio (Advent International), Jean – Pierre Di Benedetto (Argos Soditic Italia), Paolo Gambarini (Wise Sgr), Claudio Giuliano (Innoget Sgr), Alessandro Grimaldi (Clessidra Sgr) and Alessandro Mulas (Fondo Strategico Italiano) have been newly appointed to the board.
Massimo Abbagnale (Sviluppo Imprese Centro Italia Sgr), Giuseppe Campanella (Futura Invest). Marco De Benedetti (The Carlyle Group), Raffaele de Courten (Alto Partner Sgr), Roberto Italia (Cinven) and Walter Ricciotti (Quadrivio Sgr) have been confirmed in their role.
