Comgest sets eyes on Italy
French asset management boutique Comgest is looking to grow in the Italian market, where it has unveiled the launch of six funds, mainly aimed at retail investors.
Luxemburg-based funds Comgest Growth Europe, Comgest Growth Emerging Markets, Comgest Growth GEM Promising Companies, Comgest Growth Latin America, Comgest Growth America, Comgest Growth India are now available in Italy.
The funds will be distributed through Fineco and Allfunds.
At global level, the asset manager has 23 funds and five regional strategies: Asia ex-Japan, global emerging markets, global equities, Latin America and Europe.
It is understood that the business development for the market will fall under the responsibility of Gabriella Berglund.
Comgest was founded in 1985, and has €13.6bn under management. It has offices in Paris, Dublin, Hong Kong, Singapore and Tokyo.
