Corrado Gaudenzi of Eurizon Capital to speak at Milan Summit
Corrado Gaudenzi, head of Quantitative Research at Eurizon Capital, is set to take part in the Fund Selector Summit organised by InvestmentEurope for Milan on 13 November.
Gaudenzi will be speaking on how he approaches the challenge of generating equity-like returns with higher Sharpe ratios and lower volatility.
This is challenging the the environment of economic growth below historic averages and real interest rates near zero.
Gaudenzi suggests that part of the solution is to look to a flexible equity allocation and the selection of sustainable high dividend stocks. At the product level this is illustrated by the Eurizon Easyfund Strategia Flessibile, which is aimed at seizing the risk-adjusted opportunities offered by core equity markets.
Gaudenzi will explainhis nvestment process that has consistently generated a high Sharpe ratio of 1.08 and a standard deviation of 8.3% in the past three years to the end of July 2013. He will also seek to explain how this approach will continue to behave going forward.
Gaudenzi has some 23 years of experience in the industry, and currently oversees some €1.2bn in AUM. Previously, he worked for over seven years in financial intermediary companies as a quantitative analyst.
