Credem boosts recruitment plans
Italy’s Credem has unveiled its business development plans, focusing on capital increase and bankers recruitment by the end of the year.
The bank’s board said that they aim at an increase of €1bn of AUM, equivalent to the 9% of current AUM, as well as recruiting 30 more bankers to get to a total of 180 units.
The private banking, which specialises in clients with capital above €500,000, ended H1 2014 with €13.1bn AUM, +12.9% compared with the same period of 2014 and 34,000 clients, +2.5% y-o-y.
Matteo Benetti, head of private banking at Credem, commented: “Our main objective is help client capital preservation from market risks and inflation dynamics, which are very dangerous in such a delicate phase of the market as the one we are living at present.”
