Credit Suisse unveils fixed maturity bond fund in Italy

Credit Suisse AM has launched  Credit Suisse (Lux) Fixed Maturity Bond Fund 2022 S-III in Italy, a dated bond fund maturing on 31 March 2022.

The new fund, which raises the list of fixed maturity funds launched by Credit Suisse to five, focuses its investment in Asian corporate bonds.

The fund targets an annualised net return of 4% and aims to offer investors a yield pickup by investing mainly in USD-denominated corporate and quasi-sovereign bonds of predominantly Asian issuers.

Andrea Sanguinetto, head of sales at Credit Suisse Asset Management in Italia, said: “We believe the Asian bond market is offering the most attractive investment opportunities, and possibly with the potential of giving better returns than European or US bonds.”
