EstCapital SGR launches energy fund
Italy’s real estate asset manager EstCapital SGR has launched Alps Energy Re, an open-end fund which will invest in sustainable energy.
Alps Energy Re will invest in a diversified range of renewable energy such as photovoltaic, biogas and hydroelectric. The fund also aims at acquiring a range of already existing electrical systems which will be supervised by energy expert Roland Troyer.
The fund targets between €30m and €50m ofnet inflows and an annual return of 6-7%, with a duration below 10 years and it is said to be suitable both for institutional and private investors seeking for medium and long-term returns.
Mauro Pulega, CEO of EstCapital SGR, commented: “We have already posted €10m and we are receiving several requests from investors.”
EstCapital SGR is an independent manager of real estate funds with €1.2bn AUM in its 17 funds.
