Fidelity appoints three in Italy

Fidelity Worldwide Investment has appointed three managers to its Italian team.

Matteo Buonomini joined as senior manager in the fund selection unit, having previously worked at Banca Esperia and BNP.

Alessandro Furrer and Gianluca Cerone have been appointed senior sales manager and sales manager respectively, working within the commercial unit of the group with private banks and the network of adviser.

Furrer was previously at Aviva Investors and Aletti Gestielle, and Cerone has worked at Societe Generale and Morgan Stanley Investment.

“The hires show our commitment to the Italian market, where our goal is to best respond to out partners’ and investors’ needs,” said Paolo Federici, Italy country head at Fidelity.
