Financière de l’Echiquier bolsters sales team in Italy

Paris-headquartered Financière de l’Echiquier (LFDE) has hired Giorgio Curioni as sales manager for Italy reporting to country manager Paolo Sarno.

Curioni’s focus will be on strengthening relationships with networks of promotori finanziari (Italian financial advisors).

LFDE is established in Italy since 10 years, where it manages €500m primarily in equity and diversified funds, and has recently opened an office in Milan.

The firm also added earlier this year an absolute return fund Echiquier QME to the range of strategies available in Italy.

Curioni held sales, clients and marketing roles at Oddo Meriten AM and BNP Paribas Securities Services before joining the company.
