Fondazione De Mari invests €3m in social housing fund

Northern Italy’s Fondazione De Mari-Cassa di Rispamrio di Savona has made a €3m entry in the Fondo Housing Sociale Liguria, launched by Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio della Spezia (Carispezia) and managed by IDeA Fimit SGR.

The fund is the result of a three-year work conducted by Carispezia starting from its own territory with the aim of covering the whole region of Liguria, where the company is based.

The fund responds to the need for housing within that part of the population that does not benefit from public housing solutions, the company said.

Carispezia also said that the fund aims at boosting the recovery of the real estate sector by favouring private capital’s inflows in the territory.

The Fondo Housing Sociale Liguria has already obtained the permission to start investing from Cassa Depositi and Prestiti Investimenti SGR and aims at posting €100m over the next years.

InvestmentEurope is delighted to announce the Fund Selector Bond Focus Italy, to be held 4 March, 2014 at the Four Seasons Hotel in Milan.
