Franklin Templeton opens three offices in Italy

Franklin Templeton has announced the decision to open three new offices in Italy, in Rome, Florence and Padua.

The opening of new offices confirms the growth of assets under management of Franklin Templeton in Italy, which reached € 24.5bn at the end of January.

During the first month of 2013, the firm posted €720m net inflows.

“We are experiencing a time of great change. The Italian market is proving to be more receptive to these excellent products that benefit, in a context of uncertainty, by an a natural selection effect,” said Sergio Albarelli, senior director Southern Europe & Benelux.

He added: “The opening of three new offices is part of a development plan designed to support and further strengthen the growth of Franklin Templeton on the Italian market through direct supervision of territories that are considered strategic”.
