Generali makes senior hire for Asset & WM unit

Generali has appointed Antonio Tedesco as the head of Group Asset Liability Management & Strategic Asset Allocation within Generali’s investments, asset & wealth management unit.

In his new role, Tedesco (pictured) will be report to the head of Group Investment Management Solutions, Bruno Servant.

The new hire, with more than 20 years’ experience, joins Generali from PosteVita, where he was the head of Asset Management Project and head of Capital Management, and previously, the head of Finance, with a specific focus on Strategic Asset Allocation and Asset Liability Management.

Prior to this, he served in senior positions at JPMorgan Chase Bank in New York and London, with responsibility on client-oriented structured investment products and solutions across all asset classes.

Timothy Ryan, Group Chief Investment Officer and CEO Asset & Wealth Management, said:“I am very pleased to welcome Antonio to the team, in a strategic role that will be instrumental for the growth of our business unit and to further strengthen our proposition to customers.”
