IEPlus: Italy’s Ferragamo unveils e-shop for European luxury shoppers
Italian fashion house Salvatore Ferragamo has launched an e-platform dedicated to Ferragamo Timepieces launches in Europe, the United States and Hong Kong.
The channel will offer a range of Ferragamo Timepieces reflecting the firm’s style in its design.
“These creations are in line with the brand’s embedded values, combined with the unsurpassable Swiss watch-making tradition. The result is a truly stylish showcase of Ferragamo excellence,” the company said.
The e-shop is optimised for iPads and tablets and draws attention to key collections, special initiatives and new products through the use of social plug-ins and dynamic banners.
Each piece will have detailed information sheets and a powerful zoom.
The Salvatore Ferragamo shop will be accessible from Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Great Britain, Greece, Hong Kong, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland and the United States.
The Ferragamo Timepieces collection was launched at Baselworld 2008, based on a license agreement between Salvatore Ferragamo and Timex Group Luxury Watches.
It offers original interpretation of Ferragamo’s iconic symbols, like the Gancino, and other recurring brand themes, such as a creative use of colour, the contrasting use of unusual, refined materials, experimentation with shape and volume, and utmost attention to detail.
