Italian sustainable finance forum elects new chairman

Pietro Negri  has been elected as the new chairman of the Forum per la Finanza Sostenibile, which aims to promote the integration of ESG criteria in investment policies and processes.

Negri works for the legal and compliance service of Italian insurers’ association ANIA.

Negri said the expansion of sustainable finance plays a key role in building a fairer economic model that can address emerging challenges such as that of climate change.

The Forum per la Finanza Sostenibile was launched in 2001 and organises the Italian SRI week since 2012.
