Italy’s AM industry posted €3.1bn net inflows in September

Italy’s AM industry saw total net inflows of €3.1bn in September, scoring total AUM record of €1,284bn, Assogestioni revealed.

The industry has seen the ninth consecutive positive month, the association also said.

Institutional portfolio management led the positive trend, posting €3.7bn net inflows.

As for collective management, which saw outflows of €348m, flexible funds were a driving force, posting €1.3bn total net inflows. Stock and balanced funds were also positive, posting respectively net inflows of €236m and €99m.

However, both foreign and Italian domiciled products, bond, hedge and monetary funds saw outflows of up to €1.2bn – bond funds.
