Italy’s Arca signs distribution agreement with Carife

Italy’s independent asset manager Arca SGR has signed a distribution agreement with Cassa di Risparmio di Ferrara (Carife), according to which the Italian bank will distribute Arca’s investment products for 10 years.

Arca’s mutual funds will be distributed across Cassa di Risparmio di Ferrara’s 137 branches.

Following the acquisition of the mutual funds business of Vega Asset Management at te beginning of October, Arca has restructured its offering, merging its existing funds with Vega’s products.

“The new partnership allows us to strenghten our distribution network at a very complicated time for financial markets. We have developed new products designed to protect our clients’ investment,” said Ugo Loser (pictured), chief executive at Arca.

Arca has about €16bn assets under management. Its funds are distributed by more than 120 partners in 8000 branches across Italy.
