Italy’s assets under management at €241.1bn at the end of H1, Assoreti reports

The Italian network of financial advisers had €241.1bn of assets under management at the end of June, according to the latest data released by the industry association Assoreti.

The number marks a slight decrease from the previous quarter, when assets managed by the industry stood at €243bn.

Assets under management are €170.88bn, and assets under administration €70.098bn.

Year on year data show an increase of overall assets under management in the Italian industry. Overall assets were €236.998bn at the end of June 2011, with €170.45bn assets under management.

Mutual funds reported greatest outflows during the quarter, with inflows for insurance and pension funds.

Fideuram has the greatest share of the market with €74bn of assets under management, followed by Banca Mediolanum (€41bn); Finecobank (€30bn); Allianz (€25.5bn) and Banca Generali (€24.6bn).
