Italy’s Banca Mediolanum to move funds services online by 2013
Italy’s asset manager Banca Mediolanum is set to move most of its services online by the end of 2013, according to a senior officer at the firm.
Speaking to the Italian press, marketing director Oscar di Montigny said today the bank is planning to enable clients to sign contracts online, via videochats or digital signature.
Banca Mediolanum will also strengthen its presence on social networkds sucha sa Facebook and Twitter. The bank also confirmed it mostly recruits via professional social network LinkedIn.
In September, Banca Mediolanum posted outflows of about €89m. Inflows in the first nine months of the year were €1.659bn.
