Italy’s Banca Sella completes reorganisation

Italy’s banking group Banca Sella has completed reorganisation of the holding structure, with the merger of all commercial banks owned by the group.

The latest has been the acquisition of Banca Sella Nord Est – Bovio Calderari, completed today.

In 2011, Banca Sella acquired Banca Sella Sud Arditi Galati and completed the integration with Sella Servizi Bancari and Banca Sella Holding.

The consolidation strategy was included in the 2010-2012 business plan of the group, and is aimed at making the structure of the holding more efficient and cost effective.

Following the merger, Banca Sella operates with 300 branches across Italy.
