Italy’s Copernico Sim appoints private banker
Copernico Sim has added private banker Roberto Tomasino to its team of advisers.
Tomasino (pictured) will be in charge of developing private clients relationships in the area around Udine, north-east of Italy, where Copernico Sim was founded and currently has its headquarter.
Tomasino started his career as head of private clients management at Assicurazioni Generali and has then moved on to Gruppo Intesa Sanpaolo, where he had the same role within the Cassa di Risparmio of Friuli Venezia Giulia region, north-east of Italy.
Copernico Sim said that Tomasino’s appointment was aimed at further strengthening collaborations with expert private bankers and at establishing the firm’s presence in the territory.
“I’ve worked in this sector for a long time and I’ve always considered building portfolios independently very important. I’m glad to join Copernico Sim as it offers an independent advisory service as well as a wide range of diversified products,” Tomasino commented.
