Italy’s financial advisers post €12bn net inflows in 2012
It has been a good year for Italy’s networks of financial advisers.
According to the latest data released by the industry association Assoreti, the country’s advisers posted €12bn net inflows during the year, with the highest flows headed to asset management products.
Italy has about 22,000 financial advisers who in 2012 posted invested €6.75bn into mutual funds, funds of funds, hedge funds and closed funds.
Most of the investments were directed to foreign funds, which posted €1.84bn net inflows during the year.
Meanwhile, bond strategies remained best-sellers during the year, with total net inflows of €11.1bn.
