Italy’s Generali continues management overhaul
Italy’s insurer Generali has appointed Giovanni Giuliani has head of strategy and business development.
According to press reports, Giuliani will report to chief executive Mario Greco.
The appointment is part of a bigger management overhaul at the company, which follows the appointment of Greco in August.
Generali’s executive board recently approved the appointment of Alberto Minali as chief financial officer, replacing Raffaele Agrusti who has taken the role of country manager for Italy.
Greco joined the board on August 1, two months after his predecessor Giovanni Perissinotto was ousted.
Management changes will be effective in October.
