Italy’s Intesa hires Bolgiani to head international subsidiary business
Intesa Sanpaolo has appointed Marco Bolgiani as head of the international subsidiary banks division.
Bolgiani will start in the new role in December, and has previously worked in the private banking business at UniCredit and Citibank.
In the new role he will replace Giovanni Boccolini, who has reached the end of his term at Intesa Sanpaolo, the bank said.
Intesa Sanpaolo operates in Central Eastern Europe and Middle Eastern and North African areas with over 1500 branches and serves 8.3m customers in retail and commercial banking in 12 countries.
